Starting from the Academic year 2022/2023, within the Master Programme "Biology for Sustainability" taught at Parthenope University of Naples it is possible to apply for the Double Degree with the Master Programme in "Global Change Biology" taught at the Nicolaus Copernicus University of Torun, Poland.
The mobility exchange can be funded by the Erasmus+ Programme.
To obtain the Double Degree, the students enrolled at Parthenope University can spend the fall semester of the second year at the Nicolaus Copernicus University of Torun, attending the following courses of the Master Programme in "Global Change Biology" for a total of 30 CFU:
- Socioeconomic aspects of global change, 3 CFU
- Applied ecosystem services, 5 CFU
- The future of land use, 4 CFU
- The last of the wild: European protected areas, 4 CFU
- Applied statistics and spatial analysis in GIS, 3 CFU
- Case studies in global change, 4 CFU
- Thesis Lab, 7 CFU
In parallel, the students enrolled at the Nicolaus Copernicus University can spend the fall semester of the second year at Parthenope University of Naples, attending in English language the courses of the Master Programme in "Biology for Sustainability" for a total of 30 CFU:
- Natural Capital, Ecosystem Services and Environmental Accounting, 9 CFU
- Life Cycle Assessment and Environmental Certification, 9 CFU
Optional course, 6 CFU
Lab internship, 6 CFU
The Master Programme in "Biology for Sustainability" given at Parthenope University and the Master Programme in "Global Change Biology" given at the Nicolaus Copernicus University (NCU) are both run under the auspices of the UNESCO Chair on "Environment, Resources and Sustainable Development", of which the NCU is an official partner.
